Say hello the French way before guests even knock. This long, narrow door mat shows the word Bonjour! in natural coir letters set inside a bold black speech bubble, a playful touch for a front door, apartment entry or side door.
At 30 x 10 inches, the slim 10 inch depth fits tight thresholds and small porches where a standard doormat takes too much room. It also works as a compact runner in a mudroom or hallway.
The mat is made of 100% natural coir, dense coconut fibers with a coarse texture that scrapes dirt, mud and grit from shoe soles. A 5/8 inch heavy-duty pile gives a firm wiping surface for everyday traffic, and the anti-slip PVC backing helps keep it in place on clean, dry floors.
The neutral coir and black palette sits well with farmhouse, coastal, modern and Parisian-inspired decor. Pair it with a larger outdoor mat for a two-step entry, or use it inside the door as a first stop for wet shoes.
Coir lasts longest out of direct rain, so place this mat under a covered porch, in a sheltered entry or indoors.
Shake it out, sweep it or vacuum it as needed. Let it dry fully if it gets wet.
