A Natural Coir Door Mat Sized for Tight Entries

This natural coir door mat measures 24 x 13 inches, a compact size for apartment doors, narrow stoops, back doors and side entries where a standard mat would overhang.

The coarse coco fibers come from coconut husks. Their stiff texture brushes mud, sand and grit off shoe soles with every step, so less dirt travels onto your floors.

A textured PVC backing grips clean, hard surfaces such as tile, concrete, brick and hardwood, helping the mat stay put. The 5/8 inch pile is dense enough to trap debris while sitting low, but check the clearance of inward-opening doors before placing it.

Coir absorbs moisture and dries quickly with airflow, which makes this mat a fit for indoor entryways, mudrooms and covered porches. Keep it out of standing water and heavy rain to help the fibers hold their shape.

Layer it in front of a larger outdoor mat for a two-step entry, or use it alone at a side door, laundry room or garage entry to catch grit before it spreads through the house.
