Sheltered Entry Door Mat: Made for covered spots such as a porch, portico or awning overhang. Keep it out of direct rain so the coir fibers dry fast and hold their shape
Slim 30 x 10 Inch Size: 30 in long, 10 in wide and 5/8 in thick (75 x 25 cm). The narrow depth fits tight thresholds, apartment doors and entries where a standard mat blocks the door swing
Natural Coconut Coir Fibers: Dense coir from coconut husks in its natural tan color, printed with La Maison du Bonheur (the house of happiness) in black script with a heart in place of the O
Scrapes Shoes Clean: Stiff 5/8 in pile scrapes dirt, mud, sand and grass from shoe soles before they reach your floors. Non-slip PVC backing keeps the mat in place
Easy Care: Shake, sweep or vacuum to clear dirt. Weighs 2.8 lb. Avoid soaking or pressure washing so the coir keeps its texture

Description

La Maison du Bonheur Coir Door Mat for Narrow Sheltered Entries

This long, slim coir mat measures 30 x 10 inches, a size made for entries where a standard 18 x 30 inch mat takes up too much room: apartment doors, side entries, French doors and narrow front steps under a porch roof or awning.

The top is dense coconut coir in its natural tan color, printed with the French phrase La Maison du Bonheur, which means the house of happiness, in black script with a small heart in place of the O. The 5/8 inch pile scrapes mud, sand and grit from shoe soles, and the PVC backing grips the floor so the mat stays in place.

Where to Use It

Place the mat in a covered spot. Coir works best when it can dry out between uses, so a porch, portico or awning suits it well. For open steps exposed to rain, choose an all-rubber mat instead.

Care

Shake it out, sweep it or vacuum it. Spot clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry flat. Some shedding in the first weeks is normal for natural coir.
