It's a fabric bag that holds 90 percent sand. At 2.3 lb, it's heavy enough to hold an interior door in place. Yet it's light enough to carry with one hand.
This ticking stripe cover uses 100 percent polyester in blue and off white. The pattern reads coastal in a bathroom, farmhouse in a kitchen, and neutral in a bedroom or home office. A braided rope handle sits at the top seam. It lets you carry the stopper between rooms and hang it on a hook when it's not in use.
The base is fabric, not metal or hard rubber. So it sits flat on hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl, without the marks a rigid wedge can leave. Nothing screws into the floor. Nothing mounts to the door. It simply moves between the entryway, the nursery, and the home office as needed.
